Postal Service
All orders containing live insects will be dispatched via Royal Mail Next Day Delivery Guaranteed (otherwise known as Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm) with no exceptions. This is to ensure your new little friends make it to you as quickly as possible.
Tracking numbers for Special Delivery will be forwarded to you once drop off at the post office has been made on the day of dispatch.
All orders containing NO live insects will be dispatched via 1st class post.
Dispatch schedule
Dispatch days will be Monday through to Thursday.
Orders will need to be in before 4pm for next day dispatch. Any orders that fall past 4pm will fall to the following day afters’ dispatch.
i.e. An order placed before 4pm on a Tuesday evening will be dispatched on the Wednesday.
If the order is made after 4pm on a Tuesday evening, the order will be dispatched on the Thursday.
Any orders made after 4pm on Wednesday will be dispatched the next Monday.
*If Monday is a bank holiday, then the orders will fall to the next day being a Tuesday.
Adverse weather
During the colder months I will use heat-packs to help keep your new 8-legged buddy warm and comfortable while they make their journey to you. In winter months there will be a £1 additional fee on top of postage to cover the cost of a heat pack. In summer months there will be no extra fee as standard.
Note! All orders containing live insects can and will be postponed short notice if temperatures are not deemed safe for dispatch. Temperatures above 23c or below 3c at intended destination will be regarded as too risky for your new little pet to travel.

Any orders NOT containing live insects will be dispatched as normal.
Live Arrival Guarantee
If the absolute worst should happen and your new friend hasn't made it to you alive and well, you MUST contact me immediately and within 24 hours. I will replace if I have spare livestock or offer a full refund. You must supply clear colour photos of the deceased or unwell animal or the Live Arrival Guarantee will be Null and Void.
PLEASE ensure there is somebody home to accept your order when Royal Mail attempt to deliver. If there is a specific day you wish me to dispatch then please contact me so we can work something out.
*If your order containing live insects was not delivered at first attempt using Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm, then unfortunately your Live Arrival Guarantee will be Null and Void.
International Service
Unfortunately the Cheeky Spooder does not dispatch outside of the UK. Any international orders made will have to be cancelled.
However, our friend's company Spoodernest is now based in Europe. Spoodernest supplies high-end acrylic enclosures and live home-bred jumping spiders as well as decor kits. She comes HIGHLY recommended!
